We love celebrating all bodies and fitness levels from pre to post natal moms and those of us just trying to keep up with little ones of our own. One of the best things about BWYA is that it can be adapted to any fitness level: it doesn’t matter if you are new to fitness or an experienced athlete, with our modifications, you are sure to increase your stamina, strengthen your muscles, and increase your flexibility all while having fun with your little one! Our strollers provide the perfect height for our portable “barre” and our well-thought out class structure and flow provides not only exercise for you, but entertainment and engagement with your baby!


What We Offer

  • BWYA +BABY Classes

    • 45 minutes

    • Class begins with a cardio warmup, followed by mat exercises, some barre work (using our strollers!) and finishes with a nice long stretch! We take class in a circle to help cultivate community and entertain the babes! Wiggle breaks for your little ones are encouraged if and when needed!

Benefits of BWYA +BABY

  • It makes daily life easier. It’s amazing how much bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting is involved in motherhood. Every day, we carry carseats in one arm and whatever we possibly can in the other. I see other moms at the park, holding an infant in one arm and somehow lifting a toddler into a swing with the other. We have to do this stuff, either way, but when our muscles are pre-conditioned by proper stretching and exercise, we have energy left over to chase that toddler around. Again and again and again…. 

  • Boost Confidence. Exercise boosts self-esteem and helps reminds us of the woman we are underneath the spit-up-stained shit, messy bun, and the stretch marks. Just by breathing and getting your heart rate up, you are increasing your endorphins. Endorphins are those happy hormones that promote positive feelings like pleasure, happiness, love, and we all know that “A Happy wife is a happy life”. 

  • Provides Perspective. Exercise is a great parent-child bonding opportunity. Whether it’s taking a mommy-and -me class, kicking a soccer ball around, spending a few hours outside, there are so many ways to make memories while also showing kids that living is moving. We hope to inspire moms to reach their optimal heath goals and well as trying to instill fitness as a normal part of family-life.


BWYA +BABY FAQ’s

Do I need to have clearance by my Dr?

Yes! If you are recently postpartum (3 months or less) and this is your first class back, we recomend being medically cleared by your Dr..


Will my child be included during the workout?

Absolutely! We created our BWYA +BABY class to be a 2-4-1: a great workout for you the mom and time to bond and play with your little one! We encourage laughs, wiggles and fun!


What should I wear?

Wear clothes that are comfortable for you to move in. We usually do Barre in our bare feet or with grippy sock on, but some find more support if they wear their sneakers. It’s completely up to you!


What should I bring?

You will need to bring a stroller and a yoga mat. A towel may come in handy for when you sparkle (sweat!) and some water!
